A real sunrise, sunset and moonlight, with the odd passing cloud and a storm when you least expect it. Here's how a day might go.
Set them for certain times, or let surprise storms turn up at random each day.
Set your location and Aqua Storm reads the weather overhead. When it's raining or storming where you live, it can rain or storm in the tank too.
Give sunrise, sunset or any other moment its own sound: a jungle waking up at dawn, gentle ambience through the evening, whatever suits your tank.

Each flash is placed on the thunder you hear, from a single distant flicker to a storm right overhead. Play it through a powered speaker on the 3.5 mm socket, or a Bluetooth speaker.

The short answers.
Most likely, yes. AquaStorm is made for the LED aquarium lights people already own.
Check your light's power supply. The label on the power brick lists its output, for example "Output: 24 V ⎓ 2.5 A". It will work if:
Each light keeps its own power supply: plug the power supply into AquaStorm, then plug the light into AquaStorm.
Lights with their own schedules, touch screens or apps may not get the full AquaStorm effect. These lights have their own built-in controller, which usually stops them dimming properly from outside. They may dim a little, but sunrises, sunsets and lightning won't look as they should. AquaStorm can still switch them on and off on your schedule.
No. Your lights keep their own power supplies. For channel 1, plug the power supply into IN 1 and the light into OUT 1; channels 2, 3 and 4 work the same way. Never plug a power supply into an OUT socket, as this may damage your AquaStorm and void the warranty.
Yes. AquaStorm controls up to four aquarium lights, each 12 – 36 V and up to 6 A.
To connect each light:
The app finds each new light by itself. Give it a name, then calibrate it: most LED lights flicker or switch off below a certain brightness, so you set the lowest level yours can go. AquaStorm then keeps every sunrise, sunset and lightning flash smooth for that light.
No. Connect your phone to your home WiFi, open the app and connect AquaStorm to the same network. After that, AquaStorm runs your tank by itself every day, even with your phone switched off. It needs a home WiFi network with internet access, and the controller updates itself wirelessly.
The AquaStorm app works on both iPhone and Android.
Connect a powered speaker to the 3.5 mm audio socket with an aux cord, or pair a Bluetooth speaker with AquaStorm's built-in Bluetooth. Every flash of lightning lands on its thunder, with a Bluetooth speaker too. It's not only thunder: sunrise, sunset and any other moment of the day can have its own sound too, like jungle noises at dawn or soft ambience at night.
In the box is the AquaStorm controller and 5.5 × 2.1 mm DC barrel plugs. Aux cord not included. The water temperature probe and the air temperature and humidity probe are sold separately.
Two optional probes, sold separately: a fully waterproof temperature probe for freshwater and saltwater aquariums with a suction-cup mount, and an air temperature and humidity probe. The air probe isn't waterproof: keep it out of the water, as putting it under could stop it working. Sold separately to keep costs down and let you choose the monitoring features you need. Change your mind later? No problem! You can purchase and add them to your pre-existing AquaStorm device at any time.
No. The controller isn't waterproof, so keep it dry: mount it away from the water, where splashes, drips and condensation can't reach it. Only the optional water temperature probe is sealed to go in the tank.
Yes. Set your location in the app and Aqua Storm reads the current weather overhead, so storms can play in the tank when it's actually storming outside.
